This week I’m finally properly exploring Oban, a town I’ve passed through so many times over the years while travelling to Scotland’s islands, but never really stopped to experience for itself. Often described as Scotland’s seafood capital and the “Gateway to the Isles”, Oban is one of the best places in Scotland to catch ferries out to islands like Mull, Kerrera, Lismore and Barra.
